Jim J. Gibbs, 71, Crawfordsville died 9:25 a.m. Wednesday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mr. Gibbs owned Gibbs Woodworking and BJs Minit Market for several years. His memberships included Masonic Lodge 50; Masonic Cemetery Board of Trustees; Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite and First Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was born Aug 9, 1928 at Tarlton, Tenn to Samuel A. and Irene Thompson Gibbs. Survivors include a son, Barry, Panama City Beach, Fla; a daughter, Tereena Wilkins, Aurora, Ill and three grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave, Crawfordsville with Rev. Mike Wren officiatnig. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. today.
